Since moving to the Portuguese countryside I have had time to indulge in my love for interior design. I spent more time appreciating, collecting inspiration and creating beautiful things for my living space.
A year ago I moved with my partner to his casa da Avó and I have been appreciating living life slowly. The slow pace life has caused me to work on my work slowly 😅 but also start something new, Casa Da Lentidao.

So first victim is this beautiful vintage glass cabinet, all the furniture is dark so I wanted to find away to brighten things up without changing the main piece.
I wanted to paint it blue so I decided to mix some white paint with aquamarine and kept stirring until I found the right shade.
At first it was looking a bit pale but I trusted the process and the colour dried deeper.
The final result, I kept the shelves blue mainly because I was feeling lazy and impatient but I think it works really well!
