It’s late but…
I’ve been working re-building my site from the start. I’ve done this a few times now switching between shopify and squarespace. But I’ve made my peace, I’ve decided to stick with squarespace as it suits my creativity the most.
So welcome to my new site, if you casually browsing and stubbled across my site welcome, my name is Nilly and I am a British girl living in the Portuguese countryside trying to build a beautiful slow fashion brand. Focusing on wasting as little as possible to create lovely things for you all.
I started Yllin back in London after graduating in 2011, it was more of a creative outlet. I found it very hard to just let go of my creativity and just take a job an assume that was it. If you lived in London you know getting into any field of work is difficult and also hard to grow. I worked for many different small businesses and they all thought me that anything is possible if you keep going. So moving from job to job in search of better opportunities I kept my dreams alive during the evenings and days off. Sometimes there were no days off but I always made space for Yllin, trying to figure out who Yllin was. After many years I finally feel like I have found the identity of Yllin and here we are now in Portugal trying to reach as many lovely people as we can to share Yllin with.
