Travel - Palácio Nacional da Ajuda - Lisbon
Since I came to Portugal I’ve had Palácio Nacional da Ajuda on my wish list of places to go and after doing some reading on their site I realised that if you have a resident card you can visit for free! So on my next trip to Lisbon I made it my mission to visit. It’s located in Ajuda Largo da Ajuda, 1349-021 Lisboa. I went on a Saturday during September and it was very quiet, in fact I found the whole surrounding area to be quiet so it was a pleasant walk in the neighbourhood. I have entered my interior design era so I was completely immersed by all the beautiful artwork, ceramics, and furniture. I really love traditional Portuguese architecture so to see Portuguese royal architecture was a real treat. Definitely worth a visit and if you are not a resident tickets cost only €15 pp.
